3rd post (i can't think of awesome names like the rest of you!)

Wow! I feel so loved! Thanks for the feedback guys! You views are what I love to hear.
charlotte, I totally agree that is the only way to put it.
crazy-kaki-mango (your user name is absolutly awesome!) your plan for world domination will come in handy one day! (see, if I take over the world now it's your fault lol)thanks
random-your comment is appriated as usual. damn right we should be taken more seriously! But you know you can never escape fear *evil laugh*
bala-well the whole 'we're gonna knife you' thing was probably spread by the chavs for their 'street cred'. It has air quotes as at our school those idiots don't have none! (bad grammer i know but you just have to sometimes)
also thanks to everyone (again) for following my blog!

I probably should, you know, actually post something now rather than just spreading random love.
Hmmm.

Well you all seem to have very strong views on the blogging age issue so i will continue with this in future posts. I really do think we should have a little subcommunity of under 17 year olds or at least be excepted by the over 16's.

Today I was going to say something to get your brains working first, but given the current climate I to say this:
It is absolutely, stupidly freezing here!
Though I love this little green(ish) isle, Britain, which I call home (a little bit of poetic description there for you!), I really hate the weather here! It is always cold! When I go to Germany to see the relitives, it is always nice and warm. Seriously, it was like minus somethingC and I am wearing three layers while under a cover in a fully heated room. Everyone was huddling like demented penguins at break and lunch under the small bit of cover we have at our school as, to top off the horrible weather, it was raining this morning (when I had netball outside!) and stepping on the grass was like stepping on a big mud pie! fun times...
Getting the service bus back home was worse but that's another story (one which you don't want to hear me rant on about...)
Also, it is now getting pitch dark at stupid times like today, when the street lamps came on at 4.30 in the evening! It makes you feel sleepy and you can hardly do anything (aka. homework) thankfully, I have no pressing homework at the moment so I can do my happy dance! Actually the darkness is kind of a good thing as it's Diwali, which is a big thing in Leicester (aparently we will soon have more ethnic minorities than whites, which I'm cool with as we have so many cool languages and cultures you can experience by just walking down the street!) so, as I type, lots of fireworks are going off all over the place! It looks really cool! Soon, I'm going to really childish and sit at my window just watching them all night!

Well, obviously I am going to open a writhing can of worms and say some stuff about global warming. I think it is a very serious problem and you can really see (well, here anyway, tell me what's going where you are)the effects of it. Spring comes alot earlier now, same with summer and winter. For some reason autumn is still starts around the same time as always. Also, you know how some time ago there was a big conference about cutting down carbon emissions and one of the only countries not sign was America, who are probably the wealthiest countries in the world and one of the largest emmision rates. I'm sure someone tried to explain the reason why they said no to me some time ago but I seriously can't remember or think of a good reason not to cut down now. This earth needs protecting if not for ourselves, for everyone yet to come.

Right, nuff ranting

Thought for the day:

Why is Homophobia still such a big thing?

I got reminded of this subject the other day when I was watching the awesome movie, Breakfast on Pluto, which is about a transvestite growing up in 60's/70's Ireland. I'm not lesbians/bi myself but I think it's kind of shameful the way that gays/lesbians/bi's are treated/thought of in today's society. People use 'yer gay!' as an insult. Is it because people aren't well informed enough and think that all these people are the stereotypes they've created in there heads, (touching again on the fear of the unknown thing I talked about yesterday). I mean there are alot of sucessful gays such as Stephan Fry, Matt Lucas, Ian McKellen, Elton John and many more so maybe people's anxiety about how they don't want to look weak so they exploit a difference about someone else and use it to turn people against the ones who make them look bad. Discriminating against these people who have done nothing wrong (not by today's laws anyway) is as bad as more well known discriminations such as racism, maybe worse as there are less well known campaigns about it. Maybe it's because the subject makes everyone feel uncomfortable talking about it. That's why I decided to stir the water up and have it as my thought of the day.

Please comment your views (if you're brave enough)

Promise that my next post will be less contrivesial!

P.S Sorry that this post ended up as one big rant!

AW! thanks for likin' my username (it's totally random)

You're soooooo lucky it's cold where you are! I WISH it was cold in Oregon. I wuv the cold. *sniff*

I CAN'T believe America didn't sign! Now I'm even more mad at my country. Darn you America!! *shakes fist*

So I really don't like how the term gay is being used as an insult either (No, I'm NOT gay) and I yell at my older brother every time he uses it. I feel bad for they gay people in the world. Maybe one day we won't be so mean to gay people and we'll stop global warming (hopefully we stop global warming soon).

uhhh...ya. that's all I have to say.

P.S. OH! forgot to add that I like your username too indie chick! It rules!

Its always cold in England darling xD Its even cold in the sports hall when you saw me going "wtf??" xD

As a sort of hippie vegan mixed with a ranting and rambling duck global warming really annoys me. Even though I really like the US (ok maybe not Bush and republicans and all that shit) but I do like the US. But them not signing onto the carbon reduction thingy makes me sort of...not like them? You know what I mean anyway. They can afford to stop using so much freaking crude oil - they can afford a few energy saving microvaves and light bulbs and they can get off their big hindy and walk to the store two blocks away! If they all did that then we'd most likely ALL BE SAVED. Well almost saved...but whatever. They need to do something - if Obama gets in I hope he does something about it.

As far as homophobia...HOMOPHOBIA IS GAY! Hell yeah. Nothing wrong with a bit of hot man butt sex or whatever...you know where I stand on this issue from MANY discussions in french or whatever...heh.
